Terms of Service

Last updated: July 25, 2026

1. Acceptance of these terms

By accessing or using Itinera, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Free informational service

Itinera provides itinerary suggestions, destination information, visa and entry information, transport and mobility information, and related planning tools free of charge. The service is not a travel agency, insurer, immigration authority, transport operator, medical provider, legal adviser, or emergency service.

Information may be incomplete, outdated, inaccurate, unavailable, or affected by circumstances that change without notice. No result is a promise that a trip, route, booking, border crossing, venue, or activity will be available, lawful, suitable, or safe.

3. Your responsibility to verify and take precautions

You are solely responsible for your travel decisions, including:

  • checking visas, entry and transit rules with the relevant government, embassy, consulate, or immigration authority;
  • confirming schedules, routes, prices, bookings, opening hours, accessibility, and cancellation terms with the provider;
  • reviewing official safety, security, weather, health, and travel advisories before and during a trip;
  • assessing your health, abilities, budget, insurance, local laws, and the suitability of each destination and activity; and
  • maintaining reasonable personal, medical, financial, and logistical precautions.

Never rely on Itinera as your only source for a time-sensitive, safety-critical, legal, immigration, medical, or financial decision.

4. Assumption of travel risk

Travel involves risks outside Itinera's control, including delays, cancellations, denied entry, illness, injury, crime, political events, natural hazards, transport incidents, lost property, provider failures, and other mishaps. You voluntarily choose whether to travel or act on information shown here and accept responsibility for those choices.

5. Third-party services and links

Itinera may display or link to information from governments, operators, booking providers, maps, or other third parties. Those parties are independent. Itinera does not control or endorse their availability, accuracy, security, conduct, products, or terms, and is not a party to transactions you make with them.

6. No warranties

The service and its content are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the extent permitted by applicable law, Itinera and its owner or maintainer make no express or implied warranties about accuracy, completeness, currency, reliability, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

7. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Itinera and its owner or maintainer will not be liable for mishaps, losses, damages, costs, injuries, delays, denied entry, missed bookings, or other consequences arising from your use of—or reliance on—the service, third-party information, or third-party services. This includes indirect, incidental, special, consequential, and loss-of-data or loss-of-opportunity damages.

Because the service is provided free of charge, where liability cannot be fully excluded but may be limited, total liability will be limited to the greater of the amount you paid Itinera for the service during the previous 12 months or the minimum amount required by applicable law.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability, remedies, or consumer rights that applicable law does not allow to be excluded or limited.

8. Service availability and changes

Itinera may add, change, suspend, or remove features, information, or access at any time. These terms may also be updated. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.

9. Severability

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining terms will continue to apply to the extent allowed by law.
